§ 2-1. Interest of town officer or employee in town contract, etc.

No officer or employee of the town shall contract for work to be done by the town either directly or indirectly or become personally interested in or receive any profit from any purchase of supplies for any department of the town. Any person violating the foregoing provisions shall be removed from office.
