§ 19-42. Compliance with chapter.

  • Unlawful operation or driving of taxicabs. It is unlawful for any person to engage in the business of operating one (1) or more taxicabs, or to drive any taxicab, within the corporate limits of the town, unless such person shall have complied, and shall continue to comply, with the provisions of this chapter. Notwithstanding the preceding, taxicab drivers and operators who are duly licensed in another jurisdiction may come into the town to deliver persons if their services were requested by the passenger, provided they do not solicit fares within the town limits.
