§ 17-58. Participation by minors under eighteen years of age.

  • If the application filed as provided in section 17-72 specifies that minors below the age of eighteen (18) years are to be permitted to participate in the parade, picket line or group demonstration in question, the police officer having authority under this division to issue the permit applied for shall determine whether or not minors below the age of eighteen (18) years shall be permitted to participate in the parade, picket line or group demonstrations in question and shall base his determination upon whether or not the purpose, time or place of the participation will be detrimental to or endanger the health, welfare or safety of such minors.
